Finally, it dropped into my inbox, The Zoe Report from Rachel Zoe. As you girlies probably remember, I got completely hooked on The Rachel Zoe Project, Season 1 when it aired in the UK a little while back, so to keep me going until season 2 hits our screens on Really (sky 248), I signed up for this little email fix of all that is RZ. Rarely seen outside without her oversized sunnies, she is reporting on these little beauties by ex Olivers People designer Barton Perreira. These are his Starlet Sunglasses ($525) but I love the fact she is doing this "parallel universe" thing where she shows a cheaper high street equivalent. But if you fancy the real deal visit Bartonperreira.com where you will see that there are 2 retail outlets in the UK, both in London, but I am sure if you rang and paid on your card they would send them to you (thats what I do when I want something!).
Ringing and paying on the card is very handy but you should pop in for the fab feeling of trying and buying!
ReplyDeleteOh yes the Sonia by Sonia Rykeil top is the perfect foil for skinny jeans and gina gold sandals! The tops are in at my-wardrobe adn Fenwicks. Obv my-wardrobe v handy as on-line but you can ring them to discuss sizing - they are really helpful
MDS - Yes you are right, especially with sunglasses, I spent about 3 hours in Selfridges last year and tried on loads and couldn't make my mind up, so probably not a good idea to do that!

ReplyDeleteMiss Fab, you know I adore you....but I find that Zoe woman the most evil of all evils! Grrrrr! I think she looks like her skin has been swallowed by her need for food and her self-indulgence by feeding of celebrity has started to show through her oversized kaftans! She is the devil-lady! I think she wears the sunglasses to ward off sunlight because she is a vampire who sucks the blood off of famous people. EVIL!!!! On a lighter note, I think it is quite a handy-dandy idea to call a shop and have them deliver what you need if they are not local. Though with sunglasses, that is tres tricky if you don't know how they will look on. But, if they have good return policy and you are an expert wrapper so they won't crunch in the post, go for it. $500 bucks is a hefty price for sunnies---but then again, I don't own a Cartier ;) xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
ReplyDelete1of365 - Oh how funny your comment is! I thought she was devil woman, all the stories I read about her before I watched the show, but once I saw the first episode, I was hooked. I love her hair, her clothes and actually quite fancy her husband - who has the very apt name of "Roger"!
