Who wore what at Burberry

No time to talk about the fashion fabulousness that was the Burberry show right now, but I was so overwhelmed whilst watching the live streaming, I was almost in tears and I know that makes me sound like a complete saddo but it was the sound track coupled with the beautiful clothing that did it, oh and the last model out who fell on the runway, that poor girl!

Style Icon SJP rocking the Camel coloured trend...
and in honour of Alexander McQueen, that looks like one of his bags to me.

Serena Williams is apparently a friend of Christopher Baileys so I guess it was no surprise that she was wearing Burberry to the show....

Just look at the Boobs on her, it must be murder playing Tennis with those babies bouncing around!
40(d) Love!

Um, not sure about La Wintours outfit, dare I say it, but that jacket looks like a dodgy ebay purchase to me, or perhaps she pinched it from Bill Nighy the day before at the Fahri show?

Donna Air looking a bit more healthy than the "skeletor" pictures of her, after her break up with Damien.

Then the most annoying TV presenter of all time made an appearance, (OK maybe not, I forgot about Mylene) Cat Deeley, rocking a military jacket and looking like she's been on the LA (lettuce leaves only)Diet, judging by the matchstick legs. Honestly, her bloody hair is thicker than her "pins" and don't you just want to take the sissors to her locks everytime you see her on that Pantene advert. Swish!

What was your favourite celebrity outfit at LFW?

  3. What the hell was Anna Wintour thinking with that outfit. I'm so surprised because Wintour never misses the mark. And, is that lovely girl standing next to her, her daughter?
Serena Williams looks like an over wrapped piece of candy and SJP, as usual, looks great.

  5. Hahaha - even I can't defend Anna in this outfit. Your Deeley deluge is hilarious.
Actually Serena looks like a 34 F or 36 E - she has them well supported and her pecs must make them stand to attention!

  7. SJP definately wins hands down. I have that bizaar Cat rage to, shame no one put her in a bin, I cant even explain why but I really cannot stand her, even more so now she is all LA up in your face, gah. I loved the model who just took the damn shoes off LOL!

  8. Anna did nick the jacket off Bill Nighy, I saw her do it - she obviously thought he was having too much of a Billy Mac moment! Loved SJP's look.. spot on. I confess to not having gone through the entire Burberry collection pics yet but I saw a lot of studs in there! At the risk of being frowned upon I like Cat Deeley... she just seems like a nice girl xx

  10. My favourite celebrity outfit that I actually saw in human terms? or virtually? If it's actual I'd say a toss up between Carine in leopard coat, bare legs and purple amazing heeled sandals (I'm guessing they're that guy's name that starts with R.. it's late, I'm blanking on it) - and her daughter Julia was wearing leopard classic high heels (there's a story to that) OR Anna Della Russo @ Kinder Aggughini wearing giant cherries on her head. I think definitely Anna.

What I can't get over about that catwalk story is that no one even mentioned that wonderful S&tC episode where CARRIE is walking down the runway and twists her ankle and falls and they're playing that disco song, Boogie Real.. you must know that episode. I wonder if SJP thought how ironic. Certainly she must remember filming that. I felt it was life imitating art.

I saw models falling right & left in the shows. Got some lovely photos. But no one applauded like they did in the TV show. I guess cause it's England: I've noticed that only on British flights do people not applaud when the plan lands. They do coming from NY to the Dominican Republic, for example.

As for celebrities I did not see - if you're asking of the choice there I'd pick SJP simply cause I like her: she's a girl's girl, like us.

Okay, this is one helluva long post: it's late & I'm so tired but I just wanted to come say hi and that I'm grateful for your lovely comments.

    xx
