The Hottest Looks from Jigsaw A/W 10

I make no secret of the fact that I await with hot anticipation every season, the look book from Jigsaw, so whilst I am away on my holiday, I shall let you feast your eyes on some gorgeous outfits as they never disappoint me...

I like a bit of colour in an otherwise boring winter colour palette, so this dress would be perfect.

Not sure how I feel about wearing leather but have to admit I adore this outfit, although its just as much about the accessories as the dress, which may be a tad short!

Yet another reminder that I really must get a LBD.

I can see that cardigan with my jeans......

Yummy Mummy school gate outfit.  Great bag with stud detailing, oh well if I don't get a Wang....

Sumptious Shearling - Limited Edition at LK Bennett

Feeling a little too old for an Aviator Jacket but still want something warm and luxurious for the coming season? Well look no further than the gorgeous shearling offering from LK Bennett.  This jacket will last you years and using its £495 price tag on a cost per wear basis, actually makes it a "Monkey" well spent.
The jacket comes in two colours, black which is available online and instore, or sugar, as pictured, which is limited edition and available online only.

A further browse around the website and I was greeted with a range of clothing which look as though they should be on the net-a-porter website and dresses which bear a striking similarity to those on the Victoria Beckham label, but at a fraction of the price.

One little click on the "Special Offers" tab (you know I can't resist a reduction) saw a selection of classic styles fit for any season and had me lusting after this Trench Coat which also embraces this seasons hottest colourway....

Silk and Cotton Trench was £295 now £150.

and if Louboutins are out of your price range, but you are looking for a pair of classic black court shoes (I love to get the wardrobe essentials at a good price) then these would be my "hotpick"

Shilo Court Shoe was £140 now £95 (the only thing that puts me off is the fact they have the name of Brad and Angelina's spawn, when exactly is he getting back wih Jen?).

The Hottest Nail Colours for Autumn/Winter

It is with much regret that I didn't put my name (or get OH to do so) on the waiting list for the newest nail polish release from Chanel, Paradoxol.
I mean, I am still so in love with my Particulere, it was a good job I got 2 bottles, because I wear it every day.  Even in the balmy days of summer (when were they exactly?) I still didn't give it up and revert to my usual Opi Tangerine hue which I always wear because it looks so fab with a tan.
But when it came to the hysteria surrounding Nouvelle Vague, I got a bit caught up in it and again managed to get some, thanks to the Husband and the Wait List.  Only trouble was I hardly wore it.  I used it once to be precise, I felt it was a bit young for me to be honest.  The girls are happy to paint it on for nights out though, so it didn't go to waste but that was the main reason I decided not to bother with Paradoxol which does sound a bit like an antibiotic to be honest, so perhaps it was the name that put me off, although it should be perfect for a hypochondriac like myself!

Only problem is that after seeing it in the picture above, actually on somebodies nails, I find myself full of regret and want it badly....lovely isn't it?

I am determined not to make the same mistake again and have instructed the Mr to get his arse to House of Fraser in the City, pronto tomorrow for the next crop of new colours from Chanel which will be available on 10th September if you fancy one, so let me introduce a tantalising Trio, known as Les Khakis De Chanel...

I won't be going for the Khaki Brun, looks too similar to Particulere to me but shall put my name down for the mossy green Khaki Vert.  Always a lover of Khaki clothing, this will be the perfect shade to compliment a winter wardrobe of greys and black.
Although I actually own over 50 nail colours, mostly Opi, I never use them, but there is something about Chanel nail colours that draws me in every time.
Did you manage to get Paradoxol? Will you put your name down for the Khaki Collection and if not what is your favourite Chanel colour?

Weekend Specials

Lots of savings and special offers this weekend.  First up Matches have an extra 25% off all Sale items until Wednesday!

My top picks would be this Animal Print Shift by Diane Von Furstenberg.  Was £355 now £175 and with the extra 25% off, it comes in at only £131.25!
I would have to go all matchy matchy with the Marc Jacobs Tan Heeled Pumps which were originally £298, reduced to £118 in the sale and with the extra 25% off, come in at only £88.50.
I would team this outfit with a black clutch and a big chunky black bangle and if both were in my size, I would be buying this to wear to my youngest daughters 18th party in September.
Great transitional pieces for the coming season, wear with bare legs now and opaques later.

Dorothy Perkins are offering Free Next Day Delivery on all orders over £50 using the code DPCHOOSE at checkout.

With Autumn almost here it could well be time to invest in some new Ugg Boots for the coming season and you can get  Free UK standard delivery on all UGG Footwear from Kurt Geiger! just click on the link to shop!

Meanwhile over at Wallis you can get a stonking extra 20% off sale items, some of which are already reduced by 70%!

I'd be tempted by these silk harems which were originally £85, reduced to £21 and your extra 20% is deducted automatically at checkout.

Want a camel coloured Coat? Then grab a bargain for the season ahead!

The best bargains are always those that you buy in advance for the season ahead and what better way to start Autumn than with a much sought after Camel Coaticon.  This classic style from Isabella Oliver has 50% off and is now only £109.50!

With up to 60% off in their clearance section, where you can find classic pieces such as wrap dresses, blazers, trench coats etc, along with some last minute holiday shopping with a selection of fab maxi dresses, what are you waiting for?

Not quite sure whats happened to Mischa Barton ....

but if she were my daughter I think I'd be telling her to go back to the old hairstyle/colour she had when starring in the OC.
The girl still has style though, but sadly I have had to ditch all my slogan/motif t-shirts after reading an article that you shouldn't be wearing them if you are over 40, which is pretty gutting as I love this True Love jersey tank and its only £60 from the Alice by Temperley range at Net-a-Porter.

Are you still rocking slogan t-shirts?

I have only ever had Lanvin shoes, never a handbag, but having a good look at this seasons selection of Arm Candy got me thinking that I should be exploring the art of easy Parisian chic with Lanvin’s fabulous handbags.

Gerard Darel at John Lewis

I have only ever looked at the Gerard Darel collection in House of Fraser on Oxford Street but happened to stumble across it on the John Lewis website yesterday.
When on the rails, it all looks a bit "Corporate" and is one of the few brands that make me want to work in an office in the City again, but when its put on a website and you can see each item indiviually, for me it takes a different direction.
Who wouldn't fall in love with the Cape and the black dress and naturally the Leopard print tunic would go down a storm over leggings and with my Jimmy Choo boots.
If you do happen to pass a concession in your local Department Store do check out the Bags, they are gorgeous, soft and squidgy and a great price, but sadly don't appear online.

View Gerard Darel at John Lewis

Oh and if anyone can tell me of a site to create collages of images for the blog please let me know, I have spent hours searching and am getting really pissed off. I don't really like the one I've found but I don't want anything too technical, ya hear!

Just when you thought you would have to wait until October to get your hands on some new season favourites in the mid season reductions, Isabella Oliver is offering 33% off their new season collection until Sunday.

Isabella Oliver is a collection of Luxe "classics", which will supply you with the perfect Capsule wardrobe to enable you to mix and match and form the basis of your closet for years to come.
I still haven't got round to buying the essential pieces that have been on my wish list for the last few years (I get way too side tracked by sales) and this A/W is the season I intend to rectify this, so here are just a small selection of my top picks...

First up, the perfect little black dress....

Every woman has got to have The Shift Dress £129.  Style it up for evenings with a statement necklace and heels. For a Corporate look just add a silk scarf, man sized watch and a large Tote Bag. Create the look of a skirt and top by adding the classic white shirt below and tan accessories, belt, shoes, bag.

The item that every woman needs in her wardrobe The Classic white shirt £69.  Wear with jeans, either tucked in, loose or belted. Great for the office with classically styled black trousers and heels and even as a beach cover-up on holiday.

Looking to keep warm this winter? then you can't go wrong with the classic boy fit merino wool sweater £89. For the ultimate look in classic French Chic, team with capri pants and ballet pumps and for casual weekend wear or the school run, just add jeans and converse. Don't forget you can also layer it over the Classic White shirt to create even more looks.

Don't forget the offer only runs until Midnight Sunday and your 33% discount is automatically deducted at checkout and includes the Isabella Oliver Maternity Collection, Plus, free delivery on when you spend over £99 when UKSTANDARD is entered at the checkout. Now thats what I call a great deal!
