It is with much regret that I didn't put my name (or get OH to do so) on the waiting list for the newest nail polish release from Chanel, Paradoxol.
I mean, I am still so in love with my Particulere, it was a good job I got 2 bottles, because I wear it every day. Even in the balmy days of summer (when were they exactly?) I still didn't give it up and revert to my usual Opi Tangerine hue which I always wear because it looks so fab with a tan.
But when it came to the hysteria surrounding Nouvelle Vague, I got a bit caught up in it and again managed to get some, thanks to the Husband and the Wait List. Only trouble was I hardly wore it. I used it once to be precise, I felt it was a bit young for me to be honest. The girls are happy to paint it on for nights out though, so it didn't go to waste but that was the main reason I decided not to bother with Paradoxol which does sound a bit like an antibiotic to be honest, so perhaps it was the name that put me off, although it should be perfect for a hypochondriac like myself!
Only problem is that after seeing it in the picture above, actually on somebodies nails, I find myself full of regret and want it badly....lovely isn't it?
I am determined not to make the same mistake again and have instructed the Mr to get his arse to House of Fraser in the City, pronto tomorrow for the next crop of new colours from Chanel which will be available on 10th September if you fancy one, so let me introduce a tantalising Trio, known as Les Khakis De Chanel...
I won't be going for the Khaki Brun, looks too similar to Particulere to me but shall put my name down for the mossy green Khaki Vert. Always a lover of Khaki clothing, this will be the perfect shade to compliment a winter wardrobe of greys and black.
Although I actually own over 50 nail colours, mostly Opi, I never use them, but there is something about Chanel nail colours that draws me in every time.
Did you manage to get Paradoxol? Will you put your name down for the Khaki Collection and if not what is your favourite Chanel colour?
