Great Plains, massive bargains and your complete summer capsule wardrobe for less than £110.

I first put the Great Plains stripe sundress on my summer shopping list before it even became available at the end of April and then I kind of forgot to buy it.  With my advancing years, I tend to avoid thin strapped dresses like the plague but sometimes, when its really hot (and I don't mean in the UK) the short sleeved styles that I favour don't always "cut the mustard" in the keeping cool stakes and when you are on holiday and have a bit of a suntan, your upper arms don't look anywhere near as bad as when they first make an appearance at the start of the good old British summer i.e. two days, usually in March.

Great Plains is a brand that I dearly love but in all the euphoria of sales season, I should have known better than not to make it one of my first shopping destinations, after all, I know from previous seasons just how amazing their sales truly are.  As I have mentioned many times before, Great Plains is the lesser known grown up sister of French Connection, so you get the same quality of garments at a slightly lower price point and if you are looking for a "bargain du jour" then you need look no further with the brand offering something for every age group from fashion forward prints to much needed wardrobe basics, just check out my top sales picks with huge reductions whether you are looking to add a few last minute pieces to your summer/holiday wardrobe or you could get yourself the complete summer capsule collection with all the eight pieces listed below for just £109.13 - now that's what I call a bargain!

Stripe Sun Dress was £46 now £23. Lena Tunic Top was £46 now £11.50.

Sunset Cotton Trousers was £51 now £12.75. Dandelion Dreams Top was £41 now £14.50.

Copacabana Maxi Skirt was £51 now £12.75. Basics Frill Sleeve Top (other colours available) was £22.50 now £5.63.

Sunset Cotton Shorts was £46 now £18.50. Copacabana Top was £41 now £10.50.

What's the best bargain you've had this sales season?

Great Plains

  1. Hi my dear! They have some really good reductions, the stripy sundress and chino shorts are my favourites!! Love your blog for Charlie, my youngest is 13, very picky and its easier for me to give him money to shop for clothes-I loved those H&M chinos you featured! Christopher who is 18 is so much easier to shop for, he loves the boot sales and charity shops for a stylish bargain! xx

  2. My choices would be the Copacabana Maxi skirt and top - although not worn together. The sunset shorts are great worn with the copacabana top or a tee and maybe a short jacket/blazer.

  7. Haven't bought anything from them as yet ... they tend to get a little overshadowed by French Connection but they do have some nice pieces and like you say, for those in the know, the sales are awesome..
