Renowned for their unique sense of style, both our very own Fearne Cotton and Sex and the City's Sarah Jessica Parker have been throwing caution to the wind and hoping their headgear won't get caught in a storm by leaving their usual winter headwear options at home and wearing a Fedora when out and about on crisp autumn days.
It seems sunglasses are an essential pairing to this headgear micro trend and I would love your thoughts on whether you think you could, or more importantly would, rock a Fedora this winter or do you prefer to stick with a bobble hat?

M&S Fedora £29.50.

LOVE! Going to get myself down to M&S :-) x
ReplyDeleteyes I adore hats especially Fedoras. I wear them all the time and have just bought a fabulous new one from Whistles.
ReplyDeleteThis has inspired me to pull out my hat. Only problem is with the Welly wind, one must remember to hold onto ones hat:)
ReplyDeleteLove hats - my wooly one only comes out if it is really cold - and even then it's more of a beret!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally a hat girl. Can't do without mine all year round. They really make a difference to an outfit.
ReplyDeleteBought a fabulous black one in a charity shop for £4.99!!! Have been wearing it every week! I love hats, think we should wear them more! e xxxxx
ReplyDeleteYes! I started last Winter and it really makes such a positive difference in keeping warm overall.
ReplyDeleteHi my dear! Lovely post, I love hats but noticed that its really a baker boy style that suits me the best, even though I love fedoras and trilbys, Fern looks fab here! Thanks for the well wishes, am having some bad 'womens problems' but should be seeing a gynacologist very soon now xxx
ReplyDeleteFedoras are so fab. Millie Mackintosh from MIC really rocks hers.
ReplyDeleteI love my winter woolly hats - can't stand a cold head! I do like the 'Fed' but would probably be a bit too much going on with my geek specs! x
ReplyDeleteApparently, I am in the minority. I don't do hats. None. Not even the hoods attached to some of my coats. I am just not a hat person; although I love to see them on other people. If it is true that we lose most of our heat through our heads - well, then that would explain why I'm always cold!
ReplyDeleteOn the coldest days I always wear a hat or a hood.
ReplyDeletelove a hat in general and am quite taken with this one in particular!!
ReplyDeleteI love SJP and her hat but goodness she looks a tad haggard don't ya think!? xx
ReplyDeleteLove all the ones you featured on the various celebrities. I was trying on hats yesterday and I couldn't decide if I actually suited them or not. I tried on a fedora style one but I thought I looked a bit like a letter T in it. Small person, big hat = letter T.
ReplyDeleteI love hats but don't wear them that often. I favour the peaked cap style. OH is generally heard to mutter disparaging comments about Oliver Twist when I do! The Fedora looks great though - might have to give it a go and see if it works on me.
ReplyDeleteSJP always looks incredible! x
ReplyDeleteI am more a cloche hat lady and have also a couple of stylish pull on hats fur and wool, not to mention summer straw hats. I would love to wear more. A definite stylish accessory!
ReplyDeleteI love hats on other people but sadly they don't suit me at all!

I think that fedoras are far better than beanies for keeping the snow off your face when it's really cold. Plus there's the added advantage of looking really cool when you're wearing one. x
ReplyDeleteI'm not really a hats person but I always admire them on others. Love Sarah Jessica Palmer's coat too.

I love fedoras and bobble hats and would happily wear either depending on my mood.
ReplyDeleteLove the wide-brimmed fedora! I'm hoping this cooler weather sticks around longer here, so I can justify actually wearing a hat.
