Obsessed Much?

Don't be silly what on earth would make you think that?
  Untitled

And I promise I don't wear the skirt and jacket at the same time. Nor do I wear my summer weight leopard print dressing gown under my winter weight one!

Newer readers may not be aware of my leopard print obsession, older readers will be. The leopard print coat in the picture was bought about five years ago from a Principles outlet for £50.  It was full length, my mother in law shortened it, although in hindsight I wish it was a couple of inches longer. It has served me well and will no doubt get more outings when it warms up a bit and I wasn't even thinking about buying a new one until I got an email from Karen Millen.  Now will someone please give them a good telling off for me please because I am now obsessed, with a new leopard print coat.

Thoughts of investing in a new Trench coat have gone out of the window, I really am so easily swayed by what I want rather than what I need and there is no way I can get my "sensible" head back on. I'm even thinking of selling a few bits on ebay to part fund the purchase and I hate ebay with a passion!

The girl in the picture even has a Givenchy tote just like me, so it must be fate right?

£210 here.

It may not be the perfect spring coat for those of you with a penchant for pastels but it is "so" me............

Are you planning on buying a new coat this spring?

  1. I adore it S, and can completely see you in it.

I love that the leopard is softened by the black - and I agree - your givenchy tote NEEDS this jacket.

I sometimes get sent 20% off discount vouchers, so I will be sure to email you if I get one any time soon xxx

  2. I love this jacket!! It would be worth tackling e.bay for I'm sure!! But I think you could justify it as Jools says you need it if you have the bag already - it is fate. We will expect an outfit post soon!! Xx

  6. I'd go with the heart rather than the head here. You will get the coat and you will smile and stroke it. I can't see you doing that with a mac. Even a Burberry one at that.

  10. OMG! ditch the trench Sweets and go for the Karen Millen number. Now that it is implanted in your head, nothing else will make you feel better (well that's what I tell myself when I need to justify a not-so-practical-but-so-gorgeous-I-must-have purchase ;-)

  11. I really like leopard print but I have none of it weirdly. That coat is gorgeous, but I'm all about the splurge items at the mo so I say go for it!

  12. I LOVE this coat. Fantabulous! Forget the trench (dullsville!) You know you'll love wearing this. Go forth and sell on eBay immediately so that the leopard coat can be yours!

  16. Hi my dear!! Oh like you I'm just a tiny bit obsessed with leopardprint, for me it's always forever stylish and adds that touch of chic to any outfit. I just read Avenue 57s comment and if you do a top to toe look don't forget to add your gorgeous LV scarf too, hehe!! Seriously, loving the Karen Millen coat I could see you rocking that for sure and it would go so well with your existing wardrobe, loving your new header on the blog too xxx

They're adorable. I love leopard prints too but I am not that obsessed like you.

  18. I am a big fan of leopard print too, although I don't have anywhere as much in my wardrobe. I do have an eye on a khaki green jacket by Timberland for Spring if budget allows.
