Yasmin Le Bon and daughter Amber front Monsoon's ss13 ad campaign.

I love Yasmin Le Bon. Yes I really do. I once bought a cream silk one shouldered top with large frill neckline (now very Lanvin) because she was wearing it fronting a House of Fraser Linea campaign and at 48 years old, I really should feature her more as she is a total inspiration for both her career longevity and enviable gene pool!

This summer see's her fronting the Monsoon 40th Birthday Heritage Campaign alongside 23 year old daughter Amber with a photoshoot backdrop set in India, the perfect location to showcase the brands spring/summer and heritage collections with their boho chic/ethnic vibe.

I defy anybody to look at the beautiful imagery and not want to wear something from the collection for your travels this year even if you aren't planning on a trip down the River Ganges.

What do you think of the campaign?

  1. Do you know what? Looking at the pictures of mum and daughter together, mum is winning for me. Daughter is beautiful, they both are but Yasmin just has that extra something about her - it could be the confidence of age or anything but she looks amazing. And 48 - I would never have believed it.

  2. Oh my Lord, she's stunning! They look like sisters, not mother and daughter. The campaign is wonderful ... makes me instantly wish for blue skies and sunshine

  5. Yasmin is looking fabulous. I once saw here in Harrods and followed her around gawping at her for a distance!
Hard to believe they are mother and daughter. I think I could easily wear some of this collection too.

  6. They both look gorgeous...what a wonderful idea to use them both. Just shows that Monsoon is wearable by many different ages. Love Yasmin's last outfit the best and the sandals are fabulous throughout. Can't wait for sandal weather!! Avx

  7. Yep I'm in agreement Yasmin's number 1 with for me too. I wish I looked half as good at 30 as he does in her late 40's!

    They don't look like mother-daughter.

  12. How does that woman look EXACTLY the same as she did 20+ years ago? Jealous, me? Absolutely!

  14. I have always love Yasmin, even in the early days when I was a huge Duran Duran fan, I think she looks fab........I don't think her daughter is model material though, she looks scary/ cross in most of the pictures I've seen.
