I am always interested in reviewing products from British Companies who are passionate about producing good quality product, so when I was contacted by Hotter Shoes and asked to review something from their collection of footwear, I knew my feet would thank me for it.
Hotter Shoes are manufactured in Lancashire, with millions being invested to create a world class shoe making facility. The brand are currently producing more shoes than any other shoe maker in the UK. Hotter offer an online "Comfort Club" with member benefits, a selection of wide fitting footwear as well as the famous Gore-tex collection. I think my close up pictures really give you an idea of the attention to detail this brand is so passionate about.
I have been trying hard to fill certain gaps in my wardrobe and my shoe collection with the reviews I have been offered so when I saw a pair of quilted black flats, in a ballet style but with a very small heel, I knew these would make the perfect wardrobe staple that would work with jeans but because of the heel, would also be useful to team with winter skirts and dresses far easier than a dead flat ballet flat.
I took them for their first outing into London on Tuesday
They took a ride on an escalator, traipsed "up west" (as they say on Eastenders) and behaved themselves perfectly during lunch at Claridges. We came back home with the shoes looking as good as new and me minus the usual aching feet, I really can vouch for the comfort factor!
If you are searching for the perfect pair of comfortable shoes, have a glance at the look book here and there is also a behind the scene's video of this seasons collection here always a good way to see what the collection actually looks like when being worn.
