Spring Boot Perfection From Seven Boot Lane

Completely forgetting about recent sample sale purchases, months before that there was a gap in my ankle boot collection for a stone suede pair.  I ordered some in the January sales but when they arrived they were tan? How on earth did I manage to order a colour I didn't want? I already have tan (I blame the snowballs) and get so much wear out of them, I knew that a stone coloured pair would be a welcome addition for spring, so when Seven Boot Lane got in touch and asked me to review some footwear from their new season collection, I was thrilled to be able to fill that stone coloured gap with their Brandy Ankle Boots.

I love the cut out shoes and boots that have been around for a while now but they can look a bit youthful when you have three grown up daughters wearing them, so for me the Brandy boots offer a grown up and sophisticated nod to the trend that come in black or tan leather and stone or blue suede.

I decided to take the boots for their first outing with my denim dress and Gap trench and have to say my gorgeous new footwear proved to be the perfect pair of transeasonal boots that you could wear with bare legs and ditsy print dresses come summer, if you so wish.

Looking at the slight distressed feature around the toe, I can't help but think these boots are just going to get better with age and as with anything purchased from this brand, quality and craftsmanship are second to none, which means I shall be wearing these beautiful booties for many many years to come and I am pleased to be able to share with you an exclusive discount code for readers of Style At Every Age.  Get 10% off until 15th April using the code SAEASS14. Happy Shopping!

Do you have a gap in your ankle boot collection?

  19. They look great on you! I've started to wear mine by Sam Edelman and horror of horrors I got a bit of indigo jean colour transfer on the top of the boots at the back where it rubs on the cuffs. This colour transfer has never ever happened before so will have to stick to wearing it with pale jeans only.
