If You Only Buy One New Pair Of Sandals This Summer

I think it's fair to say you all probably know by now I have a bit of a shoe addiction. Some of you have even passed comment on it and there was me thinking I was no different to any other woman with two feet! I have mentioned in a previous post about the amount of footwear trends around this season, so many to keep up with, and although I have a couple of these trends covered with my skater shoes and old birkenstocks, I also still have summer sandals that I love so didn't think I was in the market for a fugly, I certainly didn't feel I needed to add any more summer footwear to my collection until I saw these. I fell in love with the Nickel sandal from Kurt Geiger whilst in Bluewater a few weeks ago. I refrained from trying them on as I knew I would want them even more but I simply can't get them out of my head!

I love how what is essentially a fugly sandal has a feminine touch with the addition of the rhinestones and gold hardware, so for those of you who are always asking me about summer sandals that don't have a thong between the toe, these are top of my list of recommendations. Black goes with everything and the sole looks ultra comfy - what's not to love?

KG Kurt Geiger Nickel Sandals £70 here.

Which summer sandals are on your wishlist?

  1. Love the addition of bling on these sandals Sharron, they're a little similar in design to my Clarks ones, which just makes them that bit more feminine & pretty than the plainer fugly sandals out there...think I'm done for sandals this year.....although never say never ;-)

  2. I don't really have any on this years wishlist as I can borrow mums birkies & I do prefer a more understated sandal (altho the fugly ones seem to have nice thick comfy looking soles!)

  3. The addition of bling definitely helps, but I really, really can't get my head around the fugly shoe/sandal. Whyyyyyy?? When there are so many other pretty shoes to choose from?!

  4. Hmmmm! Not a lover of the "fugly" style. If I needed some really comfy flats, I think I would rather go with Fit Flops ;-)

  5. The jewels are lovely but I am never sure about black sandals in summer.
Hope you had a lovely holiday.

  10. I'm still sitting on the fence as far as the fugly is concerned ;-) I like the bling on these ones though! I keep spotting cute affordable ones in Wallis and New Look and a ridiculous 100 quid pair which are to die for in Moda in Pelle, a bit clear 'plasticy' but covered in purple and pink crystals.
