Shopping The Sales For Wardrobe Staples And Ahead For Autumn/Winter

I was browsing the John Lewis website for a dress I wanted that I keep hoping will come back in stock in my size when I got a bit carried away looking at the sale and soon realised what amazing bargains there are to be had in their own brand ranges.  I hate paying full price for basics, we all need them, so what better time to buy than when they have massive reductions?

Mint Velvet Print Quilted Bomber Jacket Originally £99 now £35

Shop ahead for Autumn and Winter with cut price outerwear.  The Hobbs short mac and Kin by John Lewis Cocoon coat are both classic pieces and the Mint Velvet printed bomber will look amazing with jeans and boots before winters chill really sets in!

Tanya Calf Boots Carvela at Kurt Geiger was £140 now £39
Twiggy For M&S Chelsea Boots With Insolia was £65 now £31
Tan Italian Leather Loafers from Moda In Pelle was £65.95 now £39.95 or Taupe Suede for £29.95.

Grab all the winter footwear you will ever need with these fabulous classic styles, three pairs for £100, who could resist?

Have you shopped ahead or bought any wardrobe staples this sales season?

  1. Some great picks Sharron & like you say it's the perfect time to grab some bargains for next season. I must keep a look out for some biker boots.

  3. Super picks! I have indeed been shopping ahead for winter. I've bought a cashmere poloneck dress from Jaeger (massively discounted), 2 pairs of leather winter boots (brand new, but the two pairs for just £5 from the car boot sale!), and a waterproof jacket (half price). I always look for things out of season, bur hadn't been in John Lewis recently - will have to go there after your tip off! P x
